We had a full rewire and several new windows fitted in August 2024. The rewire seemed fine, and we received an electrical safety certificate. We initially asked the electrician to come back and do some extra work for us, but he ghosted us. This was weird and concerning because if we were to ever have a fault, we would not be able to contact the electrician to get support. We have recently found out (June 2026) that the property did not have an earth cable at the mains unit, meaning that the 2024 electrical safety certificate was void. This is a serious safety breach and the electrician has been reported. A Northern Powergrid engineer stated that the electrician is not fit to practice. Proproperty used a young lad who seemed to be an apprentice to patch up the walls after the rewire. The plastering was awful. We had to ask him to come back to redo it, and it was still shocking. In some instances, he used large amounts of polyfiller to fill holes and gaps, and this eventually shrunk and cracked. We had a brand new light fixture, and rather than removing this and plastering underneath it, he smeared polyfiller around the base of the light which we then had to clean off. We have since paid for our own plasterer to rectify the issues. The windows were fitted well, but there was no attempt to repair the damaged plaster around the windows. We naively expected this to be included in the price, and we had to pay a plasterer to do this separately. This should have been discussed upfront. We also had to wait a year to get our certificates to prove that the windows were fitted to the correct standards. I wasted a lot of time chasing this up. We were away on holiday while the work was done. The icing on the cake was that one of the workers left a mess in the toilet for us to return to. Not happy at all, and would not use Proproperty again.

Tom from Pro Property Ltd came to my home at 8:00am as scheduled to carry out repiping work to fix a leaking pipe. He arrived exactly on time and was extremely professional, experienced and efficient. Tom carefully opened the ceiling behind the cupboard, completed the repair with excellent workmanship, and ensured that the leak — and any potential future leaking above my kitchen ceiling — was properly resolved. The work was carried out very neatly and the area was left clean and tidy. I am truly impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism shown. My sincere thanks to Tom, and also to Dean, Simone, Zoe and the office team for their excellent organisation and support. I feel very fortunate to have found Pro Property Ltd and would highly recommend them. I would definitely use them again for any future plumbing or property maintenance needs. I would also like to say a special thank you to Daniel from Pro Property for his initial inspection and professional assessment. Daniel originally came to repair the leaking pipe joint, but he identified that the pipes on the kitchen ceiling were vulnerable and advised that repiping would be the proper long-term solution rather than simply repairing a copper-lead joint. He then carefully checked the pipework throughout the property — including the downstairs boiler room, the old boiler cupboard upstairs and the bathroom. His thorough assessment helped lead to the correct solution and the successful work carried out today. The leak that had been worrying me is now fully resolved, and I feel much more reassured knowing the vulnerable pipework has been properly replaced. Many thanks again.

As new homeowners we've had to have various things done right away and Pro Property have been brilliant for our many jobs. Most recently we swapped our heater and tank to a new boiler and Dan Herbert was a true professional - he kept us informed, checked in with us when he found more efficient ways to do things, the job looks amazing and was up and running under time. He was lovely to have around, self contained and kept the house working around us (essential as we have a young child), then cleaned up brilliantly before he left. Would fully recommend

We decided to use pro property to renovate our main bathroom because they are a local company who have great reviews. From the beginning we were happy with the quote and the wait time for the work to start (about 10 weeks, including the Christmas period). We found the design process very difficult, we’ve never designed a bathroom before and would have benefitted from more support with this. The service could be greatly improved by adding a design appointment. This would be really helped us to plan all the different elements (bathroom suite, tiles, flooring, etc), it may have helped with a couple of issues that occurred whilst the work was happening and it would have helped with our stress levels! One the work began, all the guys were great, and we are really happy with the quality of the work and their work ethic. All of the guys arrived promptly and worked really hard to get their jobs done. Tom especially worked really hard make sure everything was right at the end. We had a couple of delays with the work, firstly the tiling taking longer due to us picking small tiles, then an issue with the shower screen. This may have resulted in the painting being a bit rushed. Everyone worked hard to overcome these issues and we were happy to wait and have the work done properly rather than rushing. We got a couple of quotes for addition work from pro property (asbestos removal before work began and carpentry to build new cupboard doors), in both cases I managed to find much cheaper quotes by shopping around rather than immediately accepting the quotes. The bathroom is completely transformed and we are really happy with the outcome.
