Guided us through different options, but at no time did we get pressured or rushed, really helped us make the right decision for our property. Great value too! Would recommend without hesitation.

They couldn’t have been more helpful in the set up and install.. so lucky to have a company on our doorstep that provided us with the solar and the battery that we needed.

Within one month of first enquiring about solar panel and battery installation, Lanman had: i) carried out a pre-installation visit; ii) re-designed the layout based on the site visit (this included increasing the number of panels and the size of battery storage); iii)installation and commissioning was carried out in one day. Work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Very reasonable cost (VAT-free). Demand from the national grid has reduced by at least 99% and we expect this to be reflected in our eletricity bills from now on.

The whole experience was first class....from initial 1st contact with Amelia who helped me with my many questions..... the design and quote ( which was £3k cheaper than identical system with Octopus ) .....to the survey and installation by Pietro and team! I can't rate them all highly enough....from initial contact to install was around 5 weeks and the system has surpassed my expectations. If you want a company that is hugely knowledgeable,will advise you without any agenda and installation team that take absolute pride in what they do then this is the company for you. Two weeks ago we had 17 solar panels and Tesla battery and gateway storage system installed by Lanman Solar, we could not be happier with the whole experience. From the very beginning, the process felt straightforward and transparent. The initial call with Amelia and site visit from Pietro was thorough, with both taking time to explain options, battery storage, and expected savings without any pressure. Additional panels we added following the site visit and later we changed to a Tesla setup, all of which was handled promptly and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Their quotes were detailed, simple to understand and competatively priced. Pietro called us a week after the installation to check all was good and also sent us our handover pack which contained the documents required for setting up our export account etc 🔧 Installation & Workmanship The installation itself was smooth and professionally handled. Pietro and Lewis arrived at 08.30 and completed the work in a (long) day. As you can see from the photos their workmanship is of the highest standard. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and the system was up and running as promised the same day. 🔋 Solar Battery Performance The Tesla battery has been a game changer. It stores excess energy during the day and allows us to use it in the evening, which has significantly reduced our reliance on the grid. For the past week we have not used any electricity from the grid and on a couple of days the panels have generated 35kWh, most of which should eventually be approved for export - it is only mid March !!! 💷 Value for Money While not the cheapest quote I received, the convenience of buying from a trusted local company, friends had used Lanman Solar for their own and their village hall projects and recommended them to us, was worth an extra few hundred pounds. We researched battery options and while a Tesla battery is more expensive we are happy with our choice. We feel we have a professional installation. Given the long-term savings and reliability of Tesla, it feels like a solid investment. 🌱 Overall Verdict Lanman Solar is a reliable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused installer with 100% 5 star reviews. Pietro has bags of experience and the ability to design and explain high-quality systems at a reasonable price. They are without doubt a great choice if you’re considering solar panels and battery storage in East Anglia.
