Clever Energy Boilers

When my boiler stops working I came across with Clever Energy boilers. Mark did survey and talk through what they can do, as I wanted it to be moved to other location. Next day team of strong arrive and professionally installed new boiler. They trained me how to use it and explained all in details. Thank you so much for great service. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. The team were professional, punctual, and worked efficiently throughout. They left everything spotless once the job was completed, which we really appreciated. Most importantly, they were incredibly considerate of my grandad’s vulnerability and made sure the work was carried out as quickly and smoothly as possible to minimise disruption. That level of care and understanding meant a lot to us. We’re really pleased with the boiler installation and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

Extremely poor experience — delays, poor installation, misleading warranty and dreadful aftercare I had an extremely disappointing experience with this boiler supplier and would strongly caution others before using them. The installation was delayed repeatedly despite there being a very vulnerable person at home who was reliant on heating and hot water. Communication throughout was poor, and there seemed to be little urgency or concern for the impact this was having. The HIVE installation was also mishandled, which resulted in further days without heating. This should have been a straightforward part of the job, but instead it caused additional stress and inconvenience. The biggest concern, however, was the so-called warranty. It was presented in a way that gave the impression of proper manufacturer-backed cover, but in reality it does not appear to be a Bosch warranty. It is effectively their own warranty, with extensive exclusions, and requires the boiler to be serviced yearly by them through their own service plan. Otherwise, they state they will not honour it. In my view, this is highly misleading and gives customers a false sense of security. The quality of the installation was also very poor. Within days of the boiler being fitted, the ceiling developed significant leaks on two separate occasions. This had never happened before in the 16 years we have lived in the property. The timing speaks for itself. Worst of all, once the boiler was installed, the aftercare was awful. They were rude on the phone, showed no real interest in resolving the issues, and seemed to want nothing more to do with us once payment had been made. There was no meaningful attempt to take ownership, offer solutions, or reassure us. Overall, this has been a stressful and upsetting experience involving delays, poor workmanship, misleading warranty terms, and unacceptable customer service. I would not recommend this company.

We got our solar panels installed by Clever Energy nearly 3 years ago now and are very happy with them. We would recommend them. It's definitely worth having solar panels and a battery to save money in the long term and help produce renewable energy. We export a fair bit to the grid and get paid by Octopus which is great.

Impressed with Sales/Surveyor on his visit and we quickly determined that we had found the company we could do business with. Once price agreed installation for our new boiler was organised for the day after. The install engineer arrived bright and early and went about the install immediately and the whole thing was completed in good time with all packaging taken away. We were particularly impressed with our engineer as he kept us informed regularly and went the extra mile in explaining all issues relating to the install. We can strongly recommend the company.
