Excellent service from John from Minel Energy. His engineers came out to replace a failed solar inverter for me and were absolutely top-tier. Highly professional, efficient, and left the workspace immaculate. The new Solis system is performing perfectly. Highly recommend their services for any solar or battery work! They also reacted quickly so I was not left without solar for longer than necessary. I would recommend without reservation.

I've just had solar panels fitted by Minel Energy and have been very pleased throughout the whole process. I dealt with John Wade who was very helpful and not pushy (which was a big plus for me as I hate hard sales). The cost was very competitive and installation went very smoothly. Took about half a day for the panels (10) to be installed on the roof. The electrician fitted an invertor in my loft and whilst he had a tough job getting the cabling routed through to my consumer unit there were no complaints and everything was very tidily done.

I was really pleased with the work by Minel Energy. I hired them to deal with mistakes made by another solar company (who are now out of business). The previous company hadn't notified the DNO about the solar panel installation, but these guys were able to come out to replace the inverter and then notify the DNO properly. The first engineer wasn't able to visit as he tested positive for Covid. I appreciated the company taking that seriously as my partner is immunocompromised. The next engineer who visited (just a couple of days later) got everything done quickly. Unfortunately the monitoring device wouldn't connect, but they were around again in less than 24 hours to fix that. Initial job communication was able to be done through WhatsApp (e.g. sending a photo of the MCS certificate), which was nice and efficient. The person I spoke to on the phone with my initial enquiry was also very polite and helpful. If I need any further work or servicing I would definitely use Minel Energy again.

Minel supplied detailed info when quoting and giving a couple of options at fair price for roof based solar PV system. Install completed quickly and professionally and system generating as predicted. Very happy how was advised and with the completed installation - 4.05kw with 2x5 panels facing east and south.

At all times they were available to offer advice and answer queries in a timely and helpful manner. The actual installation process was conducted extremely efficiently with an absolute minimum of fuss and mess. The office staff (John) and all installers were friendly, polite and in every way a credit to the company. We would thoroughly recommend Minel to anyone looking for solar panel work.
