Very impressed with this company, headed up by Andrew Duffin, nothing was too much trouble. Immediate site visit followed by full unbiased costed appraisal of all our options and explanation of all things solar leaving us to decide, no pressure sell at all. Top quality Enphase components at middle of the road prices, supplied and installed by full time, dedicated team of fitters and scaffolders. Tidy, timely and efficient. They are not just brokers subbing out sales. We were fully guided from start to finish including all paperwork and legalities by Andrew. After a lot of research and several quotes we decided to go with The Solar People for our installation, and are very pleased we did so. Andy is a fount of knowledge, very responsive but never pushy. We particularly valued the fact that they did a full on-site survey rather than relying on aerial photos, and also liked their in-depth relationship with EnPhase.The installation was carried out professionally and courteously, and there were no gripes when we had to delay a couple of times thanks to needing to re-tile the roof unexpectedly!Our array of 16 panels and two batteries is working flawlessly, and with our export MPAN recently issued we should soon be getting paid for supplying the grid (shame about the 1MWh we’ve given them for free up to now!).If you are thinking of a solar installation these are the guys to talk to.

The company is family run which makes a huge difference, there is no pressure selling once you have discussed your requirements they will put together a package for you and then it’s up to you, fantastic way to do business. From the initial contact to the final paperwork, I would recommend this company 100%. You will not be disappointed with the price or the products advised and recommended.

Andy and team have a 'no-nonsense' approach from start to finish. As a qualified Electrical Engineer myself, I can attest to their diligent and thorough undertaking from initial survey to design, installation, testing and commissioning. My finished system (4.55kW + Batt) is 100% accurate, fit-for-purpose and of a high quality standard. A superb installation, thanks to the efforts of all involved!

The Solar industry is a bit of minefield and I found the Solar People through a recommendation by The Solar Sherpa. I was able to talk through various options without any pressure and ask loads of questions which were fully answered. Installation was quick and efficient, done by helpful and pleasant guys who have a strong connection with the Solar People. Andy Duffin, who set up the company, was willing to go the extra mile and is very helpful and certainly knows what he's talking about. We had an Enphase System installed by the Solar People in September 2024. The system comprised of 14 * 425w Panels and 3 * 5KW Enphase Batteries. The panels were fitted to a south-facing roof using solarskirt edging. The system itself is very easy to use and has the added advantage of linking to home assistant if that is your thing. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Solar People Team, the installation was carried out very professionally and visually it looks great. My need for after-sales support has been minimal, but what I’ve had has been very good.

Andy spent a good deal of time helping us understand our options for installing and using batteries linked to our existing solar panel system. He was excellent at explaining technical aspects to us in a way that was easy to understand.The installation team were knowledgeable and efficient.Thanks guys!

Excellent service! We've had two solar and battery systems fitted very professional. One system wasn't straight forward due to it working with our old solar panels. Waiting 8 months for installation and still waiting. 4 dates given and all past. They did not even tell me that they were not coming. AVOIDUpdate, tried to get a refund a few months ago as it has been over 12 months wait. I was told to wait for Andy to be free a few times who never returned my calls. He then told me to write an email requesting a refund which I did. I have tried calling several times but cannot get hold of Andy. Update, still waiting for my refund, requested one 3 months ago. Finally got a fully refund so changed rating.

Solar installation 19/08/2022. Still waiting for Iboost to be installed after all invoices paid.No reply from them after numerous emails, phone calls and voicemails.Initial service from them was good, now absolutely appalling, they take your money and then break contract. Don't use them,
