Amazing sales pitch, terrible customer service!!!There’s a leak in my roof going for months now! I’ve contacted their callbacks service and their engineers visited me once to “solve” the issue. Before they left, I told them that the issue wasn’t solved and on the call with their representative I’ve also said that the issue wasn’t solved!!!! We had a dry period, with no rain, and obviously no water coming in through the roof, now that it’s raining again, water is literally pouring in through the roof!!!I’ve contacted them over 2 weeks ago, when I spotted the issue was still going and I was told they were going to contact their engineers and book me in within 5 working days. I had NO RETURN from ANY of my several calls during this period and always been told they were going to contact their engineers and book me in. What the hell is going on???? The beams and the rafters in my roof are rotting down as I’ve shown in the videos and pictures I’ve sent you!!! There’s water coming through the ceiling indoors!!!!

Friendly and approachable staff. Good response times to queries. Fast and efficient service. Mine was a bit more complex and they needed to come out a couple of times to complete but all helpful and put things back the way they were.

Solarfast booked an installation date of 23/4/25 for the assembly of solar panels, iboost, battery and ev charger. Their installers phoned the day before and indicated that they were in the area and would like to start at lunch time a day early. Unfortunately the scaffolders only arrived a couple of hours before Solarfast and had not completed their work when Solarfast arrived. This didn't compromise the installation which to my surprise was completed before the end of the day and even before the scaffolders had finished! Solarfast certainly lived up to their name.One of the installers gave a clear description of the use of the iBoost, but little information was provided on the EV charger and for its use we relied on the internet. Overall we were pleased how well the day went and extremely satisfied with the system and its ability to reduce energy bills. Solarfast was very helpful in setting up the complex process of energy export to grid.Our only gripe with the process was with the scaffolders who cancelled the removal date on three occasions meaning that the scaffolding remained at our property over two weeks after the installation had been completed.

I found the technical support in design excellent, particularly compared to the experience I had with others previously.The installation team did exactly what they said when they said they would which was similarly excellent compared to my general experience with this sector.The sales team were proactive and kept me informed about progress at about the level I wanted ie they didn't bug me with too many calls or try and upsell.One area that you might want to focus on is better explaining what happens after installation and how you get sorted for grid export. I didn't know for example that the technology that was specified would not work with my supplier (Octopus) on the intelligent flex tariff that would best suit my circumstances. I also didn't know how long it would take to get the tariffs sorted and get paid for export after installation.

i was kept informed all the way through the process we had open discussions about the installation as it progressed the fitters were very professional. the systen now installed works great offering me a good percentage of my daily use and some feed in it was initially a lot of money but i feel very worth it
