Pure Energy

I've recently used Pure Energy to upgrade my 10-year old Solar PV system to the latest tech. Throughout the entire experience they have been fantastic and a joy to deal with. Craig Gentleman was the most honest and down to earth sales person I've ever encountered. Patiently described all the various options to me in detail and was always available at the end of the phone if I had a question. Paige & Louise in the office always did exactly what they promised, quickly and efficiently. And Luke the engineer was fantastic. Got on with the job in hand when he arrived to my house without any fuss and even tidied up after himself when finished! I had a minor issue a day or two after the install (that's life!) but the speed and energy the above team applied to identify a solution and implementing it in record speed was breath-taking. The only downside to using Pure Energy to upgrade your existing system? I'm now completely addicted to monitoring the Solar Edge app to see how much electricity we're generating and using as the information is at your fingertips and so easy to understand.Great product, great company, amazing people. Highly recommended!

Never heard of this company until this evening,,The Fraud team from my bank called to let me know that this company tried to take money from my account and have cancelled my account, . Now I have to wait for a New bank to arrive,,Very angry about this,but also grateful that the Fraud team acted quickly and my pennies are still safe

Taken on as a turbine engineer, lied to from the start, 5 MDs, 1 engineer, useless HR.Treated my DBS check with no confidentiality, then decided my check was no good enough, yet it was the same Check from a previous company who had no problems with the check.Management lies, my "line manager" lied.The worst experience in my career.

This is an extremely dishonest company that mis-sold me two unnecessary solar panels which were never installed. I have the sales invoice and emails from the manager, Harry O'Connell, confirming the mistake and promising to refund me, but despite endless chasing they still haven't done it. I am now having to pursue this through the courts. Disgraceful service, total dishonest. DO NOT USE THEM.

Further to my last review, have been chasing Pure Energy over my warranty claim. Have now been informed that they ceased trading in November shortly after taking my batteries away and charging me £180 for them to be tested at their premises. I have now had to resort to the receivers to try and get the batteries back.

I wrote earlier about the dreadful experinecs with pure.energy, the batteries installed in 2022 which worked ok for four and a half months until they needed some bought-in power, and haven't worked since - with two years of promising to come, and someone coming three months later, and taking the batteries back to re-charge, and more months, years in fact without a working system for which I paid over £12,000. They sent me a new inverter for them in June, which is still waiting for them to fit, and it's virtually November now. The One star is for the solar inverter they replaced for me, which is still working, but that wasn't worth £12,000 and they have all my batteries in case they happen to have them on board if they are over in this way - and I'm in the middle of the country not at some out of the way remote place.

Getting fed up with calls from this company claiming to help me out with my solar system. They ask questions like "are you receiving your FIT payments?" Of course we are, that's the main reason for having the system! Wish they'd stop calling. Every single call on our house phone is about our solar system. Argh!

Asked for a quote three weeks ago. Promised one within a few days. despite chasing twice by email I have never received it (although got email back from a lady assume in admin a week ago saying she would chase a sales manager).

From consultation to installation I was kept informed throughout. I have spoken to various members of the team who were all very helpful. Particular thanks to Michael for his time in the first consultation at my home and to Louise who was in regular contact before during and after the install. I am grateful for her time in the follow up call she made a few weeks after the installation where she answered my questions regarding the app amongst other things.I would very much recommend Pure Energy and i am very happy with my system

I have just had a hot water system installed by Pure energy. I am very pleased with the whole experience. We had an initial meeting to discuss the product and then the engineers arrived a few days later to install it. All the team were friendly and professional and answered my questions appropriately. So far the system works well so I am very pleased.

My original PV installation was made in April 2011 but as we have a lot of tree shading on the panels, I had the installation modified in 2019 by fitting SolarEdge Optimisers to each PV panel and changing the Inverter. All done by Pure Energy (New Age Innovation Ltd). This resulted in approx 30% more output from the existing panels. For some time, I have been thinking about battery storage to absorb the excess power that we were generating and exporting back to the grid - and then importing it back again at a much greater cost in the evenings! I finally made the plunge, having had a favourable quotation from Pure Energy - and I was very impressed by the speed of delivery and installation of the upgrade - just over a week from making my decision to proceed and having the battery and monitoring system installed!The installation proceeded smoothly and I was able to log on to the monitoring system, guided by the staff at Pure Energy HQ. Thanks!

Make’s unsolicited telephone calls. Does not check with the TPS Those that call me get invited out and sent away. I have video to prove it. Anyone that makes unsolicited calls to me gets wound up. You obviously did not check my number with the TPS I was not one bit interested in your service. I never do business with random telephone calls . I would like to know where you got my telephone number from. You have to laugh at the response my telephone number is registered with the TPS so it should mean zero telephone sales calls.Yet they admit to calling me 3 times. It’s very easy to check my number just input it in on the TPS web site. I wait you doing this and will expect an apology.FROM the TPS web siteIf a number is registered with the TPS/CTPS, organisations are legally required – by the Privacy and Electronic (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 – to refrain from calling it. In the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office enforces the law and has power to fine firms that break it.

Right from the 1st contact with Paul and then Harry O'Connell(Owner)they were very helpful and matched and gave me a better deal.Louise Peters had been appointed my project in charge and was very helpful and communicated well.I had my installation done today(17/4/24) with 20 panels(8.7Kwh) system 8 Kwh hybrid inverter and 12.9 kw battery(FoxESS).I have to give flying colours to Mike who did this install-absolutely fantastic.Very neat work-no short cuts explained everything very patiently-full on 100 marks!!!Brandon who put up the panels was equally helpful and did a very tidy and clean fit!!Hopefully going forward if need be I hope that the customer service after sales team would be equally good.Highly recommend this company.

I had to pull out of an earlier deal on account of deteriorating health. I had spoken to marketing and sales executives Paul Gorman and Harry Ellis a while ago and was impressed with their knowledge of their subject Out of courtesy i told them i was not going ahead with anyone at this time but they assured me that they could handle the project quickly and with little input from me I gave the ok to take it to the next stage and within a week I had been given a spec and installation date and a very acceptable price. All the paperwork came through on-line which was quite straightforward even for an old technofobe like me. Louise and Paige handled the details and scaffolding was erected 3 days later. Although the HQ is based in Essex all the operatives were local, friendly and approachable - special mention to tech wizard Arron Arron and the roofers turned up on time the following Tuesday and carried fitted 6 off the 12 panels - meanwhile Arron was beavering away in the garage fitting the battery, inverter and all electrics. Unfortunately the weather closed in so they were unable to install the other 6 panels until the day after - in the event this was a opportune because we need BT / EE to put in the new fibre broadband with the new code which Arron needed to fire up the system. The job was completed by lunchtime and the sun came out to give the system a flying start . My daughter and family were down here on the school holidays and they have already contacted Paul

I have been very pleased with our recent install of a Solar/Battery solution undertaken by Pure Energy, an accredited NICEIC & MCS supplier. They provided considerable confidence that one was in very capable hands throughout the process of agreeing the specification, quotation & payment, managing all aspects of the install itself and providing aftercare and guidance. The team kept us well informed and could easily be contacted to discuss any aspects of the install, including technical queries and the process of grid connection and applying to export excess energy.The end result looks great with a tidy & professional job done fixing up the panels on the roof, installing the supporting equipment (inverter, battery & controller) inside and undertaking the lengthy cable run and connections to the external supply meter.Thanks to Pure Energy, the process of getting such an install undertaken exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

Aftercare non existent, no reply to emails, after they received payment now ignoring us, not completed what they promised!Product seems to be ok but left to own devices to figure out how to use it! Batteries we’re supposed to go on wall but on floor, promised a case for them never received.Several emails sent - no reply. Hoping this negative review will prompt some action!See more
