Would recommend this companyNo pressure from the salesman who was friendly and informative. Plenty of emails to keep us informed of the process. The installation team worked seamlessly, were knowledgeable and were respectful of our property. The scaffolders were given incorrect information but worked around the problem. All in all a positive experience.

I have never met such a friendly and polite bunch of guys. From scaffold erectors to installers. Explaining everything that they were doing. To installing the app on my phone. Explaining how the app works. Cleaned all there mess up and took it away with them.would definitely recommend.

The whole experience was first class from initial visit to completion. It was also very quick. Installed within 2 weeks. Every part was well organised and completely professional from scaffolding to the day of installation. Follow up calls were frequent but not annoying. I couldn’t be happier and would recommend to anyone.

Project solar are an excellent company and especially Helal Ali our surveyor from start to finish during the installation of my solar panels and battery storage he and they were consistently helpful, readily available to address questions, Helal Ali was always on hand to provide further assistance. The workforce was clean, tidy, polite, and highly professional. I would strongly recommend their services !

It is a dreadful pity that I've had to give the overall experience 1 star. After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing over the price which I won't bother going into here - the installation itself went ahead with only minor technical issues over cables etc, which was unfortunate but cannot be counted as Project Solar's fault.No, sadly, it has been the scaffolding company sub-contracted by PS who have caused so much damage to our roof with broken and chipped roof tiles and a damaged rafter whilst putting up the scaffolding, then failed to repair properly before taking the scaffolding down. It has been almost a month now since the installation and we were effectively 'Held to Ransom' over making our final payment because of requiring the Official Documentation to send to Octopus (our electricity supplier) so that we can be paid for excess Kwh being sent into the National Grid. The certificates were delayed by over 2 weeks because we refused to pay the balance until the roof was watertight. The scaffolders were made to return by PS, but STILL did not replace the chipped tiles (which as everybody knows will just freeze and crack the first frost we get now that the surface is not intact) Of course, we had to pay the final balance and, in doing so, all hope of our roof being repaired went up in smoke. After a whole week of phone calls to various members of PS's team, all of whom are not forthcoming with either their surnames or specific company email addresses, the scaffolding man returned again today and now totally denies having damaged the rafter causing a huge dip in the tiles. Anyway folks here's my final advice: if you DO choose Project Solar- ensure you have photographed every inch of your roof before the scaffolders touch it. If you aren't the kind of people (as indeed we aren't) who make a hobby out of taking regular photographs of you roof for posterity then you'll be left in the same position as we are --- not having photographic evidence of 'Before' and 'After' your installation. I know that PS's reply will naturally be along the lines of "it was all the scaffolder's fault and we've tried out level best to make then put it right bla, bla, bla" but in the Final Analysis: PS MUST ACCEPT total and overall responsibility for their sub-contractors actions! We have no knowledge of who they were and had no contractual agreement with them. After today's Fiasco with the scaffolding man's denial of responsibility, PS should forget about trying to get them to repair the roof and just send a reliable Roofing Company out to sort it out before the rain ingress completely ruins our brand new kitchen underneath. But Hey-Ho, we KNOW that will never happen now that PS have their money.

Project Solar has carried out excellent job at my property from start to end and on time as they promised. Installers were very professionals and carried out a grate job. I started saving money from electricity from the day one. Many thanks to Project Solar Management and team. John Dsa

I would recommend project solar to everyone, the call centre team are amazing (Shout out to Fahima and Maxwell), who are both very helpful and professional. The installation team were on time, polite, professional and cleaned up as they went. I found project solars equipment to be very good quality, value for money and as soon as it was switched on, I started saving money straight away.

I Thoroughly recommend Project Solar UK. Whilst I was initially concerned that they could install within a few weeks after the salesman visit (I was always led to believe if companies don’t have a long wait time, they’re not very busy/popular), I was proved wrong! The company is very big, very popular and very efficient. Communications have been very good and very regular. The salesman was fully prepared and had researched our house. The calculations are very specific to your needs (style of house, energy consumption etc) and are comprehensive and detailed. The salesman did stay a lot longer than we’d been told, but he was extremely knowledgeable and professional and capable of asking the many questions I had. Installation happened very quickly after I agreed to go ahead and the team (albeit they were 1.5 hrs early, so caught us off-guard/unprepared) were efficient, tidy, professional and polite. They all worked hard. Despite a last minute layout change (which meant we’d cleared the loft unnecessarily, and then had to clear the garage super-quickly), the installation went very smoothly and the standard of workmanship was excellent. The internal layout of infrastructure and cabling is really neat. All three men (two panel installers and an electrician) clearly had lots of experience and knowledge and had pride in their work. They were very helpful in explaining how everything worked and how to use the App after installation. I only had the installation yesterday but I have already had two follow-up calls to check everything is working, we’re happy with everything, and we know the next steps re registering our system, and we can already see that we are sending power back to the grid.All the paperwork is very detailed, so it can seem overwhelming, but there’s no pressure, and you can ask as many questions as you need to. Having the finance option (I didn’t use it) also means that it’s affordable. Project Solar UK show a professional work ethic and great customer care. As quotations are free, I recommend you book a sales visit to find out for yourself - I wish I had done it years ago!Suzi L-P

Extremely pleased with Project Solar. I approached them after seeing an advert, then from initial contact through to completion they have been excellent in all respects. Especially Tony Chatwin who came to the house, took the time understand our needs and talk through the options with no pressure, then remained available for any questions as well as attending the installation to make sure everything was going well. It felt very comforting that we weren’t just a sale but that he actually cared that we were satisfied with everything.The scaffolding company and installers were also extremely good. Respectful of the property, kept us informed and made sure we were happy with where cables would be run and showing us how the system worked etc.Dealings with the office have also been really good, always able to get in touch with them easily and keeping us informed of progress of the application to the grid and coordinating scaffolding and installation efficiently. The warranties on the panels, batteries and inverters are a definite plus along with hearing that all panels and products are produced ethically without exploiting workers.Thank you to all at Project Solar, and it’s great that even within a day of installation we started seeing the savings.

Honestly what a fantastic company.I first had another company come around for a quote and signed up with them. I then decided, while I could still cancel, that I would get Project Solar over to see what they offer and quote. Can I just say the appointment was so much more professional, with an actual scale drawing being done and working out the best system for me. Paul was excellent and very knowledgeable. I did, however, then have issues with cancelling my other contract, which I shouldn't have had as I was in my 14-day cancellation period. I need not worry, though, as Paul and Jason, along with their legal team, guided me through the next steps and really helped and genuinely cared. Don't go anywhere else for renewable energy of any kind, Project Solar are the one to go to. There is a reason they are slightly more expensive. Totally amazing company that knows what they are doing and does it perfectly. Remember, cheaper isn't always better, and this stands for solar and many cowboy companies, but not Project Solar; they are total professionals. Special Thanks to Jason and Paul.

Absolutely shocking sales man, after initially been given the quotation there were over 20k which I explained we had a cheaper quote … we wanted to compare but didn’t feel the need to as octopus gave a better deal. The person doing the installation was fantastic didn't stop working all day. Was polite and considerate.Prior to installation Alex and the office team have been available and have contacted me to ensure things were still OK and checking I had no questions. There was no feeling of being pressurised into anything and everything was explained clearly ensuring I knew what I would be paying/signing and that I was happy with what I had been told. If the after sales/installation continues I will be extremely happy. Would recommend this company.

No question ~ FIVE STARS!4.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot led me to "have a go" with this company. One company, whom I approached earlier, was off-hand; another was more expensive.Project Solar sat down with me for about 90 minutes and explained everything without too heavy a "sell". Returned after I had a chance to think about it and confirmed my interest. Paperwork (all done electronically) was processed quickly with finance arranged. Lifetime guarantees (except for the battery~ 15 years) and various other legally required documents, too.The fitting team could not have been better. Arrived at 7.00am on the dot to get on with the work, were very competent. Everything was fitted, working and explained by 3.00pm. that afternoonOctopus took two weeks to move me to their Import/Export tariff (Octopus Flux) and that very day ProjectSolar set up the time zones for me.So now my battery fully charges at the cheap over-night rate, underpins my use during the day and the system exports to the grid whenever it can at the higher price rates. I am saving at least £100 per month as well as contributing to 'net zero' and energy security. And the house is worth around 7% more because of the investment!Project Solar are not the cheapest... but are competitive at the "high-end" of the market.

The system works from the beginning with out any problem , the installer very profficinal , the quality of the panels are very good , the duration of the grante for the system encouraged me to deal with project solar .Mr Hilal Ali from project solar spent alot of time with me ,explaining every think , so that we reached the point & signed the contract , even after that & insulation he replies to my inquiry and help .

The whole experience from beginning to end was very good. First Chris came around and spent over 2 hours explaining things in a language I could understand. There wasn’t a very long wait afterwards. About 10 days later the scaffolding went up. Unfortunately the fitting was put back a day because of sickness. These things happen. The panel fitters were polite and left everything clean and tidy. The office kept phoning me up updating and checking on progress. If your thinking of getting solar panels I recommend this company.See more

following an initial contact with Project Solar we arranged an appointment, at which I explained we would not both be there. On the day of the appointment they phoned at 7 am (rather early in my opinion) to cancel due to ill health (that happens) so we made an alternative appointment for a few days later. On the day before the appointment they called again to confirm the appointment and were insistent that we had to both be there, which i had already informed them on the two previous calls that was unlikely to be the case and that I would deal with the survey and there was no need for my partner to be there. on this call they were insistent that there had to be both parties there and would not take no for an answer. when asked why they were saying that they had to have both parties there, because they were paying for the free call. the caller would not take no for an answer and became heated that I was not prepared to make an alternative appointment that would work for them. could i have been more accommodating, probably, but this approach felt like the old double glazing approach and the fact that they were so insistent really did not fill me with confidence that this was going to be a good experience. Looking at the experience of others it is a shame that they are so inflexible on who they "have to" deal with at the start of the process. After several quotes the main reason for looking into going with Project Solar is the customer experience scores... however I think they can do better in terms of flexibility and customer engagement processes.

From the moment the salesperson arrived, until the installation of the panels was complete, we could not have wished for a better service. All very friendly, patient staff and operatives.

Calls from office clear and informative, checking that scaffolding and installers were on site. Quick and simple install. Installers arrived on time and were clean and tidy when working and ensured everything was clean when they left. Explained the system in a meaningful way.

Good experience from start to finish, initial contact with their representative Jonathan was relaxed who explained everything and options available. I did not feel pressured at any point and answered all my questions.I was kept up to date regularly as to what was happening, and when, the scaffold team were polite and friendly and install team clean and tidy who took the time to make sure the system was explained to us.Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Kept me informed throughout the entire process. At each step of the way from the initial home visit to the day of installation to any after care I wasn’t left feeling like I didn’t know what was going on or had any unanswered questions. Everything was explained clearly. The installation team were polite and worked well. There was an issue with the scaffolding installing which was carried out by a 3rd party contractor however project solar dealt with my grievance straight away and to my desired outcome.
