I was in need of an electrician at very short notice to install a cooker arriving within a few days. Having found Mike’s details on a local fb community page, I dropped him voicemail requesting his services and that I appreciated it was short notice, however he called back and said it wouldn’t be a problem, just to send all the details to aid his visit. On the day of the install, he was super efficient, polite, and really made me feel comfortable. He’s very knowledgeable, and provides good conversation and we are keen to use him for some further electrical jobs; on that note he is very honest in terms of timings and how he could accommodate us as when those job arise, no false promises.A great electrician with great apprentice / coworker who also reflects everything I experienced with Mike service. Arrived on time to repair kitchen downlights. Explained the work required and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Friendly and efficient.

Work undertaken: Emergency call out and replace consumer unit.

Our consumer unit overloaded and burnout a week ago. I called Stuart at MJ, who dealt with the problem within an hour of the call and got power restores quickly and safely. Stuart provided an accurate quote to replace units. A week later he and his daughter came back to fit new consumer units and very professionally fitted and tested the circuits, finding another fault in the wiring with no fuss. Every aspect of the work was carried out efficiently, professionally and within promised time frames. This is the 2nd time we have used MJ's services and have no problem recommending them.

Matt was super professional in examining the task at hand (install an induction cooktop in an art deco apartment); safety oriented and was competitively priced to do the job.The completed done exceeded my expectations - all new wires were hidden from view; and despite the drilling through a solid structural wall and chipping out of the kitchen counter, a very schmick and clean finish. Would recommend him unreservedly.

Outstanding response when called Mike out to sort a problem with my elderly Mum's Fuse Box over the Christmas Period. Power to Stairlift was main concern. Thankyou so much ... a first class bloke.
