Mr Solar PV

I know I put a negative comments about Mr solar. Well I spoke to Ian and he told me i was using the power from my panels wrong so now he after explaining the issue I have nothing but good things about the solar panels.

Extremely pleased from start to finish. Ian was very informative about the complete installation with no pressure whatsoever. Charlie and Alistair the installers worked extremely hard and left our home as they found it. Russ the electrician fitted inverter,batteries and wiring neatly. Would highly recommend Mr Solar and his team.

Had a great experience with Mr Solar. Conducted the survey and discussed what I wanted from the system. Cam back with a couple of options. Following a couple of requested changes, they came up with a solar, battery and EV charger option that met my needs. I had a few quotes, and these were competitive and flexible on the installation date. While there were a couple of issues with wrong items delivered, they resolved that and communicated very well. I am glad I went with them, and would definitely recommend them to others.

I had a new inverter fitted last November as the old one failed on one bank. Rang Mr Solar. He came round within 48 hours and diagnosed the problem and gave us a good price for a new inverter which was fitted within a matter of a couple of days. Some weeks later I had a battery fitted. Now I have another battery as well. Ian and his team our very polite and with no hard sell tactics. Now thinking of anorher battery giving me three in total.Mr Solar (Ian) will be looking after my system from now on.

We had a system installed by Mr Solar and his team, in early September, comprising 20 panels and 9.5kWh battery plus sundry materials. Installed within two days, scaffolding up for a few more.The price was £3.6k less than a main electricity provider. The quote process was quick and efficient; Ian visited to discuss the solution, which was followed up with an electrician's survey immediately after we decided to proceed. Nadine liaised closely concerning delivery/installation dates. Our initial enquiry was made on 5th August, received quote and gave instruction to proceed on 12th August, installation completed on 4th September. Can't fault the installers: electrician Russ and roofer Luke plus his team. They are all really nice, respectful, professional blokes who did a very neat job.We're really pleased with our solar installation, and actively monitor the GivEnergy app to check the status. Also, it's nice to know that we will have the technical support of Ian (Mr Solar) if we ever need it. We would highly recommend.

Our solar inverter packed up working after 9 years. Solis the manufacturer did not seem interested in helping socontacted Mr solar pv they arranged for a new unit and an electrician to install it, very helpful clean tidy and polite, will would be very happy to use again.

Placed an order for some panels on their website and paid, had all the conformation emails but heard nothing more. Chased up nearly a week later to see what was happening and originally told my order didn't exist! When they did find it, all I got was a refund and a fairy tale that despite the website showing 100s in stock, they where all broken and they couldn't find 9 good ones for my order. Yeah - whatever. Usual online jokers advertising stock they don't have. Created a costly problem for ourselves and no interest in sorting out their mistake. There are plenty of excellent solar equipment providers out there - Mr Solar is not one of them........EDIT - Yes this is the correct company - *Trustpilot, full order and email chain available if required*

Just had a GivEnergy system installed by Mr Solar and I'm very impressed.Everything from initial discussions with Ian about what I thought I needed and his recommendations, to the survey, quotation and install were handled quickly and professionally.Communication was excellent with Ian's team keeping me up to date and well informed throughout the process and the installation carried out by Russ, Luke and Ash is very neat and unobtrusive. I'm now checking my GivEnergy app every 5 mins and marvelling at how little I'm relying on grid energy.Thanks for dragging me into the 21st century.

Excellent Service Realised my solar panels were not working at the weekend and contacted Mr Solar. They gave me really good advice and various options all at a competitive price. I advised I was going on holiday soon and they went over and above expectations to replace my inverter before I went away. The electrician took time to ensure the meter was fitted and collaborated before leaving and downloaded the app on my phone and demonstrated how to use the features. Would highly recommend this company. Thank you

I purchased an integrated 16 panel solar Pv system, with Givenergy 9.5Kw battery and associated Givenergy components. I found the whole experience from the initial visit by Ian, to the system commissioning, to be all I could have expected. I was very pleased with the advice and information provided by Ian, prior to ordering. I also found the care and attention to detail, from the installation team to be very reassuring. I was completely satisfied with the system, the installation and the high level of customer service provided to ensure the system I purchased was appropriate for my needs. Overall a very satisfying 5 star experience, and I would recommend Mr Solar (and the Givenegy system).
