We used Elite Renewables recently to install solar panels, a battery and an EV charger. I had struggled previously with other companies who wanted me to tell them how many panels I wanted and what type of battery and charger - I didn't know, as I wasn't familiar with the tech! Elite actually took the trouble to analyse and advise what they would recommend for our house and our needs and discuss it with us. They were clear with their quote and with all communication. The whole process was quick and painless and we're happy that we've got the right set-up. From Nina and Luke in the design team to Ben and his team who did the installation, everyone was helpful and charming. They have been great with after care too. Highly recommend

I can definitely recommend Elite. They were very helpful and responsive during the planning stage of my house renovation long before I was actually ready to purchase, helping me plan my layout to accommodate a heat pump. The installation was carried out in a professional manner and I’m pleased with the results.

I really enjoyed my involvement with Elite Renewables. I have been considering installing solar panels and heat pump for some time but never managed to get straight answers out of the average installer. Elite were responsive and attentive, with a genuinely personal service provided by Nina and be any of the technicians I spoke to. Every call or email was followed up efficiently and smartly. No blether, no waffle - just good crisp knowledge, clearly communicated. I am going to consider my options for a while but Elite are top of my list for when I return to this in due course. Without their expert input I would have gone with a cheaper quote but a less appropriate system and it would have been a mistake. I am very grateful. An absolute pleasure working with this company.

I am happy to recommend Elite Renewables. From the initial heat loss survey to the final installation of my ASHP and upgrades to various radiators. Everyone I met was helpful and knowledgeable. All my questions were answered and the installation team were first rate with everything completed within the week. For the first time in many years I am not dreading winter.

I would recommend them. The people they send out are lovely, polite and answer questions. I had a heat pump and ventilation system installed, and most recently an annual HP service. They patiently answered my many questions, making my installations much better, especially with unfamiliar systems, due to their responsiveness in person and on email. Where they were weaker was the make good, for holes they need to cut out for electrics, pipes etc. they aren’t decorators and didn’t do a great job. So I’d suggest planning these big expensive changes with a separate minor redecoration plan to follow. The more forethought and ideas where to put things and flexibility I think you can give them for the install, the better result you will get in the longer term.

I used Elite to install the ASHP and therefore I knew I was in good hands with them also doing the service. All went well and no issues to complain off.

Elite Renewables installed my heat pump 4 years ago and did a fantastic job, they couldn't have been more helpful when I had queries and didn't know what certain things meant. They have serviced it since then and it's been working perfectly, a lovely warm house. We also got them to install solar panels at a later date for us and again they were so efficient and speedy putting them up. Thank you for all the great work you have done on our property!

I’ve seen a response now that is not accurate. There were no supply issues . There were over 300 of the parts in stock (turns out I didn’t even need it as was not broken but installed incorrectly ). My system was not only maintained but the inverter and pump had already been replaced once before. Dutypoint have now looked at issue and confirmed that they were replaced (I was being gaslit in this ) and also that the settings had not been done correctly hence it was malfunctioning. This was not Elite Renewables but another company they had recommended for maintenance. The overflow was also connected to the sewer as no bladder trap had been installed. From my report :“The lefthand pump has been replaced and the right hand Vasco inverterappears to have been changed also as it is a newer version andneeded to be set as master to allow correct parameter transfer. Fan onthe right hand inverter had failed and the pressure vessel was notholding charge. Vasco fan and pressure vessel replaced. Unit leftswitched off as water stagnant and has pump oil on the surface.Needs to be cleaned and chlorinated before switching back on. Thereis a possibility that one of the pumps is about to fail, as we cannot tell ifthe oil is from existing pump or from previous failed pump. Bladdertrap needs to be installed to prevent back flow from sewer as overflowconnected to sewer.”Elite Renewables fitted the entire plumbing system for my house - it’s a new house four years old. We’ve had so many issues I can’t enumerate them all here . However, they recently came to fix our cold water system which has broken. That was over a month ago. Every week they said they were ordering the part. I asked again this week and they said they can’t get hold of the company Dutypoint. I have asked another company who are now helping. Elite said they would fix my system and they are completely disregarding the job. We also have had a leak in our master bedroom for over a month that they installed as well and they won’t come to look at that either. We have an issue with the Nibe heat exchange which is still under warranty that they said they could fix and there is silence on that. I wish there was an ombudsman I could go to as I just find it totally unacceptable the way they have messed me around. Also, if from the beginning they said they couldn’t help, fine. It’s their prerogative to turn away my business but they don’t. They promised to fix it. Stay away from these people

Really rapid, effective and friendly service from Casey and the Elite team providing a service on my Solar Thermal system. Technically knowledgeable and no hidden charges. Very transparent and upfront. Will use again.

We live in a large (8,500ft2), 3-storey, Victorian detached house. The insulation is as good as we can get it but not brilliant, and we have old cast iron "school radiators". The house has been heated by an oil boiler for many years. I was constantly told that there was no way heat pumps would work in this house as the output value and water temperature requirements could not be met, particularly with the old fashioned radiators.. I invited Elite Renewables to give advice and they were the first and only company to confirm that air source heat pumps would work. I had several meetings with Martyn Fowler, the CEO and founder, whose expertise, knowledge and experience convinced me the naysayers were wrong; Martyn is also a pleasure to deal with. On Martyn's recommendation we duly installed two Stiebel Eltron WPL25AS heat pumps and, after a number of teething problems in year one, they are now working perfectly. The house is toasty and I am saving a great deal of money. The Coefficient of Performance has increased constantly from quarter one (to June 30 2022) and is now consistently above 3, (3.3 in the warmer quarters and just below 3 in the colder quarters.).. The cumulative COP is approaching 3 and rising. This means that on my current electricity price I am effectively paying 7.42p/kwh (including VAT) for my heating, very competitive with oil, and much cheaper than gas. We are also now running a "green" house, which is bound to benefit resale value. I am getting fed up with the so-called experts talking down heat pumps, saying they don't work in older properties, are noisy, aren't efficient in cold weather or in properties with inadequate insulation, and so on. My experience disagrees with all of that - I am now evangelistic about heat pumps! (and Elite will tell you I'm very hard to please!). According to the International Energy Agency, 60% of Norway's buildings are fitted with a heat pump, followed closely by Sweden at 43% and Finland at 41%. In Germany the figure is a little over 4% and in the UK just 1%. If they can use heat pumps effectively in Scandinavia then they can certainly work in most types of property here - you just may need to improve your insulation somewhat. The service from Elite Renewables has been excellent. It's fair to say that the first 12 months was frustrating with a number of teething problems, partly due to the fact that this was one of their largest installations with two heat pumps operating in tandem. However, Elite were always quick to respond with Rikki Challis and the wider team always willing to attend to deal with the teething problems. Elite also have an excellent relationship with Stiebel Eltron, calling Andy Probert in to attend to some of the more complex teething issues. I am about to connect to the Stiebel "Gateway" which will allow me to control the system from anywhere in the world, so I can reduce the room temperatures whilst on holiday, and increase them just before we return so that the house is toasty on arrival, saving a great deal of money in the process. Thanks to Ben Jones of Stiebel for supporting that.I f you are thinking of installing a heat pump, please question the negative conventional wisdom. They do work in older properties, the flow temperature available is increasing, you could save money, and they are very easy to run. You can also get a grant from the government. And make sure you invite Elite Renewwables to quote - I can't speak too highly of them and that's confirmed by all the other excellent reviews praising them to the hilt!!
