As stated by others, the solar panel installers were very good and professional. As for the insulation team they were pathetic and it took several weeks and phone-calls to get the work re done in three stages. The plumbers were total cowboys and did know the legal requirements on safety. They installed the unvented cylinder in front of the solar inverter making it impossible to access for settings etc. They connected an existing copper back boiler to the unvented cylinder which is lethal and could cause an explosion, they did not reinstate a cold water supply to the shower mixer valve and then connected it to the mains supply and not the balanced hot & cold supply. The heat pump was leaning over on uneven ground in front of the lounge window. Seriously untidy pipework. There were 12 leaks which made a mess. Carpet raised and re fitted on top of bits of rubble which had to be raised again to sort out. Old oil boiler flue pipe removed and hole not patched up in wall and boiler left in situ and said they were not responsible for it’s removal. Extractor fans installed in most rooms with no isolating switches. One bedroom radiator fitted which was badly damaged. We sent Consumer Energy Solutions pictures and written evidence of the mess, we also contacted the MCS group several times with no results. We eventually gave up hope and had to pay over £600 for all the remedial work to be completed. We had to threaten court action more than once to recover the money. They should be struck off immediately especially as there was a tv program specifically about their poor workmanship and the fact they had made £34 million profit in this short period. Does “Trustpilot”not look in to these companies record before recommending them ? Stay clear !
Really good experience with this company from beginning all the way to the solar panels installation. Everything went smooth thanks to Josh R. who kept me up to date with everything. I’m really happy with the system.
Overall excellent job ..all the work men were all pleasant, kept areas clean and tidy with got on with their jobs allocated to them.. also the staff in the office were very helpful and pleasant.. the jobs also were inspected.
Huge amount of work done in a short time with relatively minimal stress. Insulation, heating and solar panel installation teams all worked efficiently and cleared up any mess. It’s been ten months now, and I’m seeing the difference in my heating bills. The heating was originally run by LPG and although initially through the winter, electricity bill was higher, I am now seeing the benefit of not having to order two tanks of gas, and having credits added to my electricity account courtesy of the solar panels in the spring. My annual energy spending is already significantly lower. The air source heating was a little complicated but help has been only a phone call away, and I’m perfectly happy with it, Thanks to storm Darrah the solar panel system threw a little wobbly, but I was sent a short video and got it up and running again on my own.

Product is crap doesn't heat house and costs a fortune to keep on
Friday May 30th I rang up to report a small leak in the system. I was told someone would be out on the Monday and they were and arrived in the morning. That's a pretty quick response. The guys were great and took the time to explain a couple of things we wanted to know about settings on the unit.
I’ve just used CES and am really pleased with all the service and helpful staff Ross and Jason the cavity wall insulation men, they were very helpful and even painted the holes where it was too high for me to get to, so unexpected and really lovely polite guys. And nice the holes in the wall are not too bigAlso today jack Stephens and Sam Pritchard were great with the loft insulation on such a hot day , really polite tooThe plumbers Bobby and jarod from treforest, very conscientious and did a great job fitting the air source pump,The electricians were great too, Christine on the phone and Luke Moore, Excellent customer service, I’m happy to recommend CES
I've already written a review and gave a 5star rating for the install. However, having had the system for 9 months I can now point out issues I'm having with the system ... all down to the design.The install process was good.... even if the internal communication between onsite teams and office staff and between office departments was dreadful and has resulted in the issues I'm now getting Since the install we have issues with mixer taps. The hot and cold need to be balanced which was never done so end up with Luke warm showers and baths I've had to pay another two plumber to fix this issue but my advice is to test everything before they leave site.Though I was promised we would all be able to take showers of a morning this isn't possible. The tank we were given, 150litre, does not provide enough hot water for 4 showers. We adjust the system from economical to standard so that the airsource kicks in straight away, however takes a while to get back upto tempI was promised a 225 litre tank by the onsite surveyor but the design team downsized it (along with my solar system)My advice to everyone insist on the largest tank you can get as 150 litre tank no where big enough for 4 or more peopleI don't think I'd use this company again
DO NOT USE CES FOR ANY GOVERNMENT FUNDING. They started at the beginning of September last year , and there in no end in site .They caused a massive leak when fitting the boiler that caused my staircase and hallway ceiling to fall done and wreck the carpet .They also cut through 2 carpets, admitted fault and promised to get a carpet fitter out to repair them 6 months ago .In the last email they said the workers that did the damage no longer work for them so there not going to pay to replace or repair it now as they have lost all the relevant information. I've had a manager called Ryan , Andrew (was delightful but has now left , due to the fact he didn't like the companys morals), and now Lucy from the after care department all of whom have asked us to provide the same information over And over again but cannot action anything despite being told to get quotes for the carpets to be replaced they would pay for them directly I was happy with but there not willing too do this know as the workmen didn't work in those areas which they clearly did I have photos to prove this .You cannot get in touch with them by phone only emails .They just fob you off .Until I got in touch with TRUSTMARK who pay them .When they got involved they had missed out of 7 ceilings that should have been insulated the first time and they had to replaster all the ceiling that were plastered the first time due to poor workmanship and re plaster 2 of the 7 ceiling on the second attempt the first time the electrician fitted 5 ceiling lights in hall bonk and set and 6 lights in the kitchen out of square .I was left with light wiring hanging down for 3 months over Xmas in the end I paid an electrician to refit the lights .The inverter they installed originally was the wrong one for my property a single phase one , which I needed a 3 phase which then took 6 weeks to be reconnected as they then didn't have the correct parts which could have been bought off Ebay, then they sent out an electrician who wasn't qualified to fit the part , I have a list of over 20 remaining jobs to do for them to finish so that the work can get signed off. The worst thing is yet to come they have extended the wiring on my fire alarm system and it now no longer works which is obviously a fire hazard and they don't care about the safety of my family in the meantime. The workmen are nice enough but just not good enough to do a professional job .I have now had enough and I am taking legal action against them .If your reading this review please do not use them , Thankyou for your response CES, I have notified you numerous times of the issues , you say you will pass on the relevant information to the departments but still no action and no progress has happened, you basically fobb me off everytime , I have given you more than enough chances to rectify the issues, now I have had enough, sick of the apologies for nothing being done.
Fantastic install from start to finish, great prices, but great people more importantly. Big thanks to the solar fitters Liam, Callum and Arron, clean and tidy, along with the electrician John, Josh in the office and also Kimberly! Look forward to dealing with you in the future when I expand my batteries.

We have had a full installation of solar, heating and loft insulation. They promise the world and play the blame game between departments. Solar wasn't really an issue and was done quickly and efficiently and the technicians were very helpful. Insulation department, messy, careless and lazy. Had to keep chasing. Heating keep blaming plumbers or electricians, or even the supplier. No response to complaints. No heating/hot water (intermittently), holes in walls, broken guttering, cracked cement and apparently technicians calling in sick!! but no notice given.
I would recommend this company for any energy upgrades.
I have just had my insulation completed inside my house by Grant Edwards and Dan Gibala. From the offset the work has been finished to a very high standard exceeding my expectations. The guys were accommodating to our busy family schedule making the busy process as smooth as possible. When we had queries or requests they went above and beyond to help. Overall extremely happy with the work would highly recommend.

Had an excellent group of work men from all the trades especially Wayne and Craig. Their work was always professional and now my home is much warmer. The office staff were also helpful sorting out any minor issues as quickly as possible.See more
