We recently purchased an old victorian house that needed an awful lot of work, but the most pressing task was to have the place whole rewired and a new boiler installed. The boiler was old and wouldn't support our large family, and it also was in our planned baby bedroom and had to be moved into our kitchen. We searched around and got quotes and availabilities from a couple of companies capable of carrying out the work and starting the day we received our keys. It had taken months to confirm the purchase, and time wasn't on our side. We needed to remain in our existing flat while the electricians and plumbers were carrying out the work. We had a newborn and didn't want to live in the house while doing the work. But 1st Fix was so understanding and so professional that they managed and controlled the entire thing. They rewired the whole house, installed a new boiler, ran new pipes in 3 weeks. They then made right on the walls by plastering and leaving everything in excellent condition, ready to paint. Each night we came to see the progress and saw how tidy the team were and how they took pride in their work. Once the job was complete, I was given a full survey walk and allowed to ask questions so that I understood where everything was. I would highly recommend 1st Fix Maintenance for any work you are looking to do. The team have a complete skill set, from electricians, plumbing, plastering and builders. I plan to have them come back in the future when I start my extension work. I can't thank them enough for how they managed everything for me.

The team were all very professional and completed every aspect of the work to a very high standard. Toilet flush - concealed unit.The work was first carried out some months ago by a local plumber. Extensive work was carried out but the problem returned. First Fix is a local company whose details I obtained from the CR5 magazine. From my first email contact to the completion of the work, it was a no hassle experience. Craig, my plumber, was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. He carried out the repair most efficiently and I have no hesitation in using their services again and giving my recommendation.
