I would not recommend LMF Energy Services. We have had 12 weeks of disruption resulting in having to move out because of the mess caused. Workmen turning up without notice or not at all. 4 to 5 week job we were told has taken 12 weeks. 10 weeks without hot water and heating & 6 weeks board and plaster which should have been 2 weeks max. After the scaffolding and the solar team not turning up to start, we eventually got under way only for the scaffolding to be in our garden for 3 weeks. We ending up calling the company to remove it. The skip was left in the driveway which was then unusable for 6 weeks because no one had measured the space previously. We also had to call the skip company to get it removed! Damage has been caused to our house including floors, walls and holes in ceilings. I was having to clean up every evening so our dogs didn't step on nails and screws. In the end we moved out for 4 days because of the mess and having to go around the outside of our property to gain access to the kitchen and bathroom. We have had to fight and chase for workmen to come back to fix things. The light in the bathroom was left loose and live so we had to fix this as it fell out the ceiling! We knew this would be intrusive but it really has been beyond belief and the stress that it has caused. We were told that the compensation was given to sort out problems! No!!this is given to redecorate not to fix shoddy work and LMF should be replacing skirting boards and windowsills if they remove them. If it was up to us they would not be paid for the work that has been done. I could project manage it better myself of which I have to a point. Our only saving grace was Toni from the office who managed to get things moving along once she was assigned to us otherwise we'd be nowhere near finished. Huge lack of communication between to site and office teams made this process so much harder.
part way through installation. 10/10 for the workers doing the work, friendly and helpful! Office and supervisors 0/10 - never answer phone calls, emails, texts or whatsapp! Impossible to work with. No replies to any efforts to contact them in the last day....
From our initial enquiry with the Rural Energy Grant Org through to almost having the work completed I have been very impressed with the level of communication and quality of work carried out by each of the teams, from the scaffolders, electricians, solar installers, Air Source Heat pump, heating installers as well as surveyors all overseen and managed by LMF. Any issues were quickly identified and addressed professionally. Special mentions for Sarah Dayus at Rural Energy Grants and Archie Dickens at LMF. A Five Star rating from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍
LMF installed a new boiler for me that has caused nothing but problems. Twice I had to contact them because it was leaking, no one ever came back to me when I left messages and I waited weeks for repairs. The office seem to have no idea what is happening and are extremely unhelpful. I now have no hot water or heating. Spoke to the office and they’ve put me in the list for an engineer, no idea when that will be and if like previously someone likely just to turn up without any heads up from the office. I’m not expecting anything in the next few days despite being listed as urgent. It seems they are very keen to start the work and take the money but have no interest in the after sales care.

The work men ,who did the heating ,solar panels etc were fantastic ,were helpful, friendly and very hard work .the only thing I would say is the communication from the office could be abit better.but still 5 stars

Excellent service, all workmen were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, excellent service.Some minor miss communications between Office, Client and Tradesmen but all quickly resolved and no issues.
This was the worst experience of our lives. A lot of damage from installers of the solar panels , not able to reach the company to report as in no one answered the phone ? We waited eight months to have the air source heat pump finally installed which has not worked properly since and is now disconnected whilst we wait for LMF to decide how to fix it ??? We only just got our mcs certificate which is dated a few days ago even though our panels have been producing since last August so I presume no payment to us from that either ?? The guys that corrected the faults were great but essentially we had little to no communication from LMF at all stages and now nothing at all !!!
I received a grant because i am disabled, this was march 2024, Most of the work men (plumbers) were so disrespectful ! After 3 strokes a heat attack and blind in one eye, they put radiators where they thought they should put them! Solar panels facing NORTH heat pump resting on reclimbed half sleepers (IT is not steady) . refused to speak to me because i got upset!, my home looks like an industrial estate , we have just had the radiator installed in the bathroom! and they are refusing to fit the solar panels on the south facing roof! £487 a month for heating!! DISCUSTING!!
Carried out the works required with minimum disruption and with efficiency. All tradesmen were polite and respectful. Staff overseeing the project were checking in regularly to make sure everything was going to plan. Snaggings/teething problems were dealt with straight away Would definitely recommend
Each and every member of the workforce who installed the energy saving measures to our cold, damp home have been amazing. The team installing the air source heat pump, the lads putting on the solar panels, the ventilation fitter, the scaffolders, the electricians, the plumbers, the loft insulation fitters, the boarders and plasterers have all been respectful, friendly, efficient and professional. Their standard of work is terrific and any snags have been sorted out quickly and efficiently. A big shout out to Mike Phillips who has plastered brilliantly with a fine eye for attention to detail. Nothing has been too much trouble, going above and beyond each day. Mike and Taddis, who has also been amazing, make a great team. Not forgetting Zoe in the office, who has been an angel answering questions, reassuring us and informing us of what happens next. And Kevin, good bloke! The house is now cosy and snug. We are very happy to highly recommend LMF and their workforce, thank you!
Office staff kept us well informed as start approached.What we were told would happen took place as promised. The Plumbers worked particularly hard so we now have high hopes for the rest of the job. Efficiency, cleanliness and genuine interest in our job made this firm stand out. I'm delighted to be writing such a positive review.
My grateful thanks to all the team who installed my air source pump central heating, solar panels and cavity wall insulation. What a wonderful team. I was a little worried at the amount of work being done and wondered whether the mess would be too much for me to cope with but this team of happy workers cleared and cleaned up each room as they finished and left my home warm and energy efficient after a few weeks of dedicated work. John Burgess, Paul Brown, Lloyd, Liam, Mike Phillips, the electrician, the cavity wall duo and the extractor fan lads and of course the two teams of scaffolding lads. A huge thank you to you all. We have recently had a government grant for an air source heat pump ,solar panels and cavity wall insulation. All the different workmen we had were excellent and very clean.they were very professional at all times.mike Phillips came at the end of the job to make sure everything was ok.he made sure everything was sorted and a couple of little snags.they were very little snags like a top on the radiator to be replaced and a bit of patching works, I cannot fault him as he was fantastic too
